Journey Around the World was the first song we ever wrote and recorded under the Wombology name back in 2019 (we started venturing into music in 2017). We first had the idea of making a full length album after we released The Wombology Tape and immediately began production. Over the course of a year we wrote and recorded many tracks such as Toothpick in Your Toenail, Red Hair Lady, Green Packer Bay, THiNK-TANK and more for our debut album we were gonna call The New Jew. We were very unprepared to release music in general so a full album was a bit too ambitious for us, we not-so-quickly realized we were in over our heads and ceased production. On July 3rd 2020 we decided to start actually recording material again and quickly made the 3-track ep During Crisis over the course of an hour or two, We didnt really intend on making political punk rock songs such as We Don't Like It and Isolated but we did and we realized we actually made good songs for once. We released During Crisis on the 4th of July to tens of people (our friends). We started production on an unnamed political punk rock album in October 2020 and began recording the track B.A.D. and Stay Alive (which actually turned out to also be 2 of the last tracks we finished for the album). We finished recording on May 3rd 2021 and submitted the final mixes the following day. I hope you all like it, because I really do

WE THE PEOPLE follows the tales of two men in the army who have fled for better lives, only to end up in the same problems they fled from. we didn’t really know that when we started this record but it ended up writing itself eventually. pretty much all of this material was inspired by the events of 2020. whether about the coronavirus, the riots, or the overtaking of the government and the police force that was kinda going on for a little bit. wombology as a band was kinda directionless until we realized that our better songs at the time were the louder and punk inspired ones so we ran with that as our whole sound and ditched our previous wip album full of random songs about nothing. all of this was written and recorded between 2020 and 2021. journey round the world and toothpick are very old songs of ours that we decided to keep around for different reasons. anyway i like this album and i hope you do too. hopefully the world is a bit better by the time we get to the next one
